BTW, I posted this to the newsgroup instead of e-mailing you because others
may have this same issue.

Would you mind telling us exactly what are the FoxPro Yellow Pages.
I have the same problem and searched the MS site all over but could not
find the
file Fox.reg that you mentioned. Thanks.

A very nice man named Peter, approximately two hours later, finally figured
out that I was missing a key in my registry. He recited what was
apparently the correct mantra to me, involving a whole bunch of "N as in
Nancy" and "B as in Boy" type phrases, which I dutifully recorded in my
registry. After that I was able to add the TreeView control to my forms
again! In homage, I sacri...deleted a few files as a symbolic tribute to
the FDISK/FORMAT gods.
I asked if I could pass along the correct key/value to others who might
experience the same problem, but was instructed not to do so--obviously
because of the awe-inspiring word "license". However, a call to MS should
resolve the problem. My problem and solution are now in the tech support
peoples' knowledge base and might even make it into the public KB. I think
the latter will happen soon if more of us call MS with this tech-support
question. The number you want to use depends on how you bought VFP. That
makes sense right? From the help menu under Tech Support, here they are:
VFP only: (206) 635-7191
Vis Studio professional: 206-635-7012
Vis Studio enterprise: 206-635-7012 (looks the same as the one
above...hmmm)
As an aside, I first called MS in Japan, since that's where I work (in
Japan I mean, not at MS). The nice lady at MS set me straight by telling
me that Visual FoxPro is not included in Visual Studio-Enterprise edition.
In fact, she had no idea what Visual FoxPro was. Obviously, the reason I
was getting this error was because, in fact, I didn't even have FoxPro. I
wish I could use this logic with *my* clients.
Good luck,
Nick Drochak

Are you sure that you have registred the COMCTL32.OCX file ?
If not, then try to run C:\Windows\System\Regsvr32.exe Comctl32.ocx
