Runtime files for Crystal Reports 8.5 (VFP7 in W Vista)

Asking for a list of CR8.5 runtimes I found the following:

CPEAUT32.DLL, CRPE32.DLL , CRPAIG80.DLL ,IMPLODE.DLL , MFC42.DLL,
MSVCIRT.DLL,MSVCP60.DLL , MSVCRT.DLL

And these

Crbas14.dll, Cror714.dll, CROR815.DLL, Crpaig80.dll, crpe32.dll,
Crutl14.dll, crxf_pdf.dll, crxf_rtf.dll, Crxlat32.dll, Implode.dll,
p2bxbse.dll, p2sodbc.dll, pg32conv.dll, qecr.lic, sscsdk80.dll, u2ddisk.dll,
u2dmapi.dll, u2fcr.dll, u2fdif.dll, u2fhtml.dll, u2fodbc.dll, u2frec.dll,
u2fsepv.dll, u2ftext.dll, u2fwks.dll, u2fwordw.dll, u2fxls.dll, u2fxml.dll,

My Crystal Reports files (RPT ) were done in a former version

Must I convert RPT files to 8.5 ?

I would not use Crystal 8.5 at this point. It is a very old version. Go to
version 10.

Why not get that former version, and distribute the run time modules for
that former version?

Sounds like you gots a version control problem (or maybe some client has a
version control problem).

What are your thoughts?

I 悲 prefer to keep the older version but now in Windows Vista I got an
error. I forgot exactly what was it.

I had created the RPT files several years ago and would like not change
them.

then install it on Vista ?

Good. How can I get the installation set of RunTime Modules ? I use CR 8.5
but really I don´t know this new version.

Because older versions are not certified by Business Objects to run on XP or
Vista. There may be problems.
