what "exe of vfp"? VFPx.EXE? Or an EXE program compiled with VFP?

At least you have to recompile all your apps with VFP8.

Hi Amit:

If the exe was compiled under VFP 8.0, you need to make sure you have the
following files on the machine. You can place them in the same folder as
he exe.

VFP8r.dll
VFP8renu.dll
MSVCR70.dll
GDIplus.dll

Also, check the version of VFP you used to compile the exe with the
Version() function in the Command window. The VFP8r*.dll files must be the
same version as you used to compile the exe. For example, if you used VFP
8.0 version .3117 your VFP8r*.dll files must be the same version.

See http://fox.wikis.com/__snapshot/VFP8RuntimeFiles.htm

I hope this helps.
