When I install my VFP7 application on some W95 and W98
machines, I get the message 'Vfp7r.dll is missing or
damaged' when running the application.

Any ideas?

Hello, James!

The VFP7 runtime files require the msvcr70.dll file. If it is not present or
can't be found, then you can get this message.
Here's a list of all VFP7 runtime files.

Hi James

If you still get the error after ensuring all the proper runtime files are
on the machine, you want to make sure the VFP7r.dll and VFP7renu.dll files
are the proper version. If you compiled the exe in VFP 7.0 SP1 Then the
run time files need to be version SP1 as well.

I hope this helps.

James,
Strange as it may seem, it's often MSVCR70.DLL that's actually missing or not registered that causes this error!
