VP 7.0 WCU Install

When I attempt to install VP 7.0 Windows Component Update
Setup Runtime Files I get an error dialogue box saying

winmain() error. Cannot locat expected executable

while running foxpro7.0\setup\wcu\runprog.exe
C:\WINNT\System32\msiexec.exe

I have unregisted, regregistered, uninstalled and
reinstalled the Microsoft Windows Installer 1.2 and 2.0
and the correct files are in the system directory, but I
continue to get this error. Has anybody seen this and if
so how do you work through it ?

Hi David,

This is usually caused by a space in the path to the installation folder

To work around this problem, do one of the following:

- Remove the spaces in your share name or path.

-or-

- Install the components that fail by using their individual install
routines,
which are documented in the \WCU\Help\Moreinfo.htm file on the Visual
FoxPro
7.0 Professional CD.
