I'm running Foxpro for windows 2.6 under XP-pro and the Trace
window has only 1 line of code visible. I've deleted all
FoxUser.dbf/fpt but still no good.

You should be able to grab the bottom right corner of the box with your mouse
and resize it like any other window. Or did you already try that? Mine has
no close box, but that feature was set off in the program I was just running.
Perhaps the program you are testing has set the resize feature off for you.
