Is there anyone here with decompile capabilities who I can contract for
a one-up Fox26 app decompile?

Then, perhaps I was not as clear as I could have been...
I have no argument with the cost of the software, especially if I had
the need for it on a regular basis... but, as my op tried to
communicate, it's too high for _me_ to justify the purchase for a single
decompile of a small simple app, hence, I was asking if any
professionals offered decompile services using ReFox or any other method.
...and, I have had two responses which I am considering as the project
progresses.
fwiw, the client has full rights to the app and source code which was
custom written for them, but the source code for the last build was
apparently not preserved following the author's unexpected death...
Neither the client, the author's family nor I have been able to find to
code used to build the app that is currently in use and, while other
code has been recovered, I can't take the chance that code with much
older date stamps might not be the same that's in current use.
There are multiple paths open to meet the client's needs... I'm simply
trying to find the best one.

Might want to take a peek at http://BevHoward.com ;-)
That's my base, it sounds like yours is different.
History of 'the project' wasn't useful, what matters is that your clients
pay for your materials. The deCompiler is a tool that your client should
pay for. If 400 bucks is 'too much for them' then perhaps the rate for time
is not up there either. I'm not complaining, just pointing out that obvious
(at least to me) bit.
As to the name/gender issue - ya ya - my bad - I bow in the dust, genuflect
to the Great God, etc etc.

yes, but in my experience, I have far fewer medical expenses than most
and no ulcer medication costs... so, it's probably a wash ;-)
