'hotmail' not 'remembering' my information...

this may take a while, so bear with me... i'm running xp home, sp3, and
auto-updates on... when i log into 'hotmail' (or any other 'windows live'
application), i have to type in my email address EVERY TIME i log in, despite
clicking the 'remember my email address' button. i don't think it's a
conflict with my existing software, because i never had to enter my email
addy before... msn messenger is acting the same way, and it never used to
either... any ideas/suggestions/advice?

I would try clearing Hotmail's cookies in your browser first...
