Hi,

We are making some rate changes in the master human resources list (under
the budget input set). For some reason when we try to save the changes, we
are given a message saying there's data error and it may not calculate. Is
this not the best place to make edits to the data?

Short of deleting all HR records in this input set and re-upload the updated
records, what may be a more efficient way to do an edit on rates for all
records?

Thanks.

I assume you're getting the "There are data errors on one or more rows"
message. This occurs because, well, there's an error detected somewhere on
the screen. Typically, this is a bad start or end period, perhaps an invalid
salary grade, or an invalid increase period (1 or 2).

The row(s) with the error should be colored in the error color defined for
your system (default color is red). Additionally, a question mark should be
placed in the row selector. If you click on a row that is highlighted as an
error, it should tell you at the bottom of the screen what the problem is.

Hope this helps you find the troubles!
