MDAC 2.8 not working with win 2000

Hi
I have a XML Web service application which works fine on windows 2003 with
MDAC 2.8 but the same application doesn't work with win 2k prof with MDAC 2.8
gives a error message saying that some wrong header name hence unable to load
data.
Would somebody help me in this matter.
