When I use the imput panel, it won't insert what I write onto Windows Journal
or Microsoft Word.

Can you give some more detail. What input panel are you using? And what steps
are you taking to make this work? Thanks!

I am a programmer.

Any thing that is beeing put into the machine is being puzzled back to you.
The thing that you are trying to do might be done with a other person their
program in the way that you might expect but might not be done with a other
person their program or a other person their program in the machine or a
other person near you.

See if you can find the other programs that are active and/or the manuals of
the programs that are being used.

Anything can happen with modern or older machines.
