Square aspect ratio using the Expression Encoder 2 provided templa

Hi,

I'm using Expression Encoder 2, trying to crop the left and right side of a
.wmv file where the original video is 720x480. My end goal is to have a
480x480 video file using the 'clean' Job Output template provided.

The problem is that no matter what Profile, Video Profile, or Crop settings
I use, I can't get the media controls to fit into the width of the playing
video. The video comes out square as desired but the media controls extend
further to the left and right, leaving me with a square video playing with
black background to the left and right.

I've tried other output templates to no avail. Can anyone walk me through
the steps?
