That is, by default when a video is encoded Streaming Broadband for example
what are its output dimensions in pixels used as parameters to size a video
player in a page?
If you use Silverlight, you have to use variable bit rate for HD (720p or
1080p). The HD for online services are all 1264 x 720 (wide screen only).
The main difference is the bitrate (YouTube = 1995, Facebook = 2500 and
Vimeo = 5000). Audio for all is 192 kbps at 44.1KHz and 16 bps. In
Silverlight the video bit rate will go down when you size down.
I posted a basic video on encoding at http://youtube.com/crazycancerdev, but
I will have to re-encode after playing a bit. More will be up there soon,
although there won't be many on Expression Encoder.
Peace and Grace,
