I have same problem.
I have Nikon D300 + GP1 GPS.
when I import the file raw in my catalog I don't see the values for Latitude
& Longitude.

I have very similay problem. If my GPS unit was attached when taking photo
on D300 and D700 then EM2 recognise GPS position and shows it. But if I add
GPS position later using ViewNX for example, EM2 does not pick it up.

There are subtle differences in metadata between those two, although I do
not understand why it does not pick latitude and longitude. The most
important ones.

Here is metadata in the file when GPS position was added in ViewNX:
GPS Version ID : 2.2.0.0
GPS Latitude Ref : North
GPS Longitude Ref : West
GPS Map Datum : WGS-84
GPS Latitude : 53 deg 47' 18.13" N
GPS Longitude : 1 deg 46' 10.02" W
GPS Position : 53 deg 47' 18.13" N, 1 deg 46' 10.02" W

And this is the metadata when GPS was taken using diGPS attached to D300:

I need only Latitude and Longitude. Why these two do not get imported when I
add GPS position afterwards using ViewNX?
