Dear all,

I am developing a graphical interface using Expression Blend 2( trial
version).

When I started "create a new project" I chose WPF application.exe . the
language C# and the .net Framework 3.0.

When i tried to edit this project to visual studio 2005, i have the
following error message:

Connot edit file . Exceptionof hresult: 0x8004004(E_abort)

I've tried to open it via visual studio2005, it says : The selected file is
a solution file but was created by a newer version of this application and
canot be opened.

Any help will be apreciated.,

Ismail

Not 100% sure but try creating the project using Visual Studio 2005 firts
then open it with Expression Blend.
Otherwise manually modify the project file and make it compatible with
VS2005.

Hi Ismail

I tryed to reproduce your error with these steps:
(Using final Version 1.0.1083.0)

1. I build a new C# Project in Blend.
2. Selected the Window in Blend
3. Changed to the PropertyInspector in Blend
4. Changed inside the PropertyInspector to the EventView
5. Write "MyMethode" to the Activated Event
6. Press enter while the focus is inside the "MyMethode" Field.
7. VS 2005 starts perfect without an error.
8. Start the Project in VS2005 -> See my Window.

Other Way:
1. Build a new project in VS2005
2. Save it
3. open it with Blend

On my maschine it works perfect.
Do you have installed the "VS 2005 extensions for .net Framework 3.0 (WCF &
WPF)"?

Best regards
Horst
