Expression Blend 3 install error - Out of Memory

i have been trying to install expression blend 3 with workflow to no avail...

i have had similar problems with expression 2 products as well.

blend 3 reports an out of memory error when trying to install.

win xp sp3, 2 gb memory

ms office 07, vs 2008, 2010, .net 3, 3, 3.5, 4.1 installed

any ideas?

added note...

report this error fails too... both just hang there for the day

tried uninstalling silverlight... no change

A co-worker notes that if you minimize the installer while it is running, it
should install successfully.

I have msdn subsription, i downloaded Expression Studio 3 x86, but I can't
install it. Gives me:
Fatal error

Hey Mauser,

I'm not sure if you've already solved this, but I also had the same issue
and can confirm that if you minimize the installation as soon as it begins,
the installation does complete successfully. I hope this helps someone else
out there that is having this issue. Microsoft, please fix this :p
