We've been running Exchange 2003 for a long time and now set up our new
Exchange 2007 server. Currently, they're sitting side by side and working
fine. We created a few user accounts on the new server and everything is
working fine.
We, however, have noticed that Exchange 2007 is using its older brother
Exchange 2003 for outgoing email traffic (SMTP).
What do we need to do before we take the old Exchange 2003 down? I want to
make sure that we're not going to break a few things when we take the old
Exchange 2003 server down.
