Exchange Recovery

Thanks for reading this,

I am in seriuos trouble: I had a system crash of my wsk ex2k server. At the
moment I have the whole exsrvr directory as backup (including mtbdata folder).
I had to set up the productive server immediately, at the moment I am trying to
recover the emailboxes etc. On a seperate machine, I installed w2k with the
same ad settings and installed ex2k. Then I copied the recovered mdbdata folder
into the new installation and tried to mount. Genereal error, restart exchnage
system manager.

ok.

I tries eseutil /cc, it won't work (unknown error). Integrity check by eseutil
is ok.

Do you have any ideas how to recover the data from the database?

Any help is appreciated,

You may want to use ExMerge to extract the PSTs and reload
them.

i have the same problem but exmerge ask to the database to bu up and running
since this is my problem how can i use the exmerge with the database
unmount??

Hi,
I have the almost the same problem.
Could you please tell me where is the EXMERGE tool ?
I tried some other tools like "Ontrack PowerControls 1.0". It looks very
good for unmounted stores (even without exchange server) but the version i
got is a trial and do not let you recover the items just view it.
So, Could you please tell me where is the Exmerge tool or is there any
similar tools.

you can find the Exmerge-tool in the extracted SP2 in the support/utils
folder
