All undeliverable mail that comes to my domain is routed to me. I go
through it and look for common miss-spelled addresses and forward them to
the appropriate users (nice guy huh :) )

Well... I somehow missed some VERY important emails that were directed to
our CEO. I permanently deleted the messages from my mailbox.

Using the 'Message Tracking Center'.. i found the date, time, recipient, and
bad email address used

I searched through the store transaction logs that are in
exchsrvr\mdbdata\e0*.log and found all the emails...

My question is this: Is there a way to retrieve these emails? Since I can
see the actual email in the transaction logs (body and all)?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Yikes. Not sure if this will help but do you have Deleted messages being
retained on the server? If so, go to your Delelted Items, and then Tools,
Recover Deleted Items and hopefully recover them from there...
Maybe? Assuming you use Outlook as the client.

I skipped my deleted items ( SHIFT+DEL )...

I do have a retention on my exchange server and the deleted email is
definately with-in the time frame of that retention

How do i retreive the email messages?

Like i said... i can view the ENTIRE email in the transaction log files. So
I *could* just copy/paste the messages from the transaction log to a text
file and use those.. but I want to know the proper way (if any) to retreive
these messages

Search the KB for DumpsterAlwaysOn.
Once you set that on your PC, you can recover the deleted items from the
folder you deleted them from.
