Our Exchange crashed on Friday but backup was only good til Wednesday. We
restored the database but missing email from Thursday-Friday. My question is
Email client outlook has OST file good til the exchange crashed. What happen
if we bring the exchange online and user launch their outlook? would all of
their email in current OST will be delete? Please advise. Thanks

You'd lose data if that Outlook profile could be brought online & sync'd,
but I don't think you can do that anyway. I think you'll need to rename or
delete the old OST file and let it be rebuilt if you want that profile to
work with the new mailbox.

Before doing this, have everyone export to PST so they can later copy back
in the data missing from the restored mailboxes.
