Definitely not - keep it on the LAN protected by your perimeter firewall.
You'd have to open up way too many ports between DMZ and LAN and you'd end
up without much of a DMZ.

Hi,
What ports are used to communicate between OWA server and Exchange
servers?
Thank you very much, T
A gazillion of them. OWA runs on Exchange, remember. It's not like in the
olden days when you could run it on any IIS box. It has to participate in
the directory. Don't even go down that road - there is no point, as what
security you *think* you're gaining is rendered null by the swiss cheese you
would have to make of your DMZ barrier. It is definitely not a recommended
config.
SMTP simple mail transfer protocol 25
POP3 post office protocol 110
IMAP internet messaging access protocol 143

Hi - OWA doesn't use POP or IMAP.
