My exchange server on SBS 2000, downloads mail from our ISP via POP3 and then
distributes it to users in our office and also to users in a remote office,
who have their own SBS 2003 server, which retrieves their mail from our
server into their own exchange server and then distributes it locally.

This week I have had an intermittent connectivity problem with the POP3
connector on my server which was resolved yesterday after restarting the
server. Since then almost everything has been working fine, except:

one user at a remote site has been unable to collect his emails and when I
check on our server he has a number of emails sitting in his MBX username
inbox - from as far back as Monday (it's now Thursday). Other users at the
same site can collect their emails with no problems.

His mailbox is over 4gb, and the total for the remote office is almost 15gb,
so I have told them to have a good clear out just in case this is the
problem, but this may be a red herring, so can anyone suggest anything else I
should be looking at?

I would be very grateful for your help!
