pst files split question

Hi,

I have one pst file (1.8 GB) and I need to split it in several 650 MB
files.

Do you know a tool for do it automatically ?

Can you open the PST file? If so, create a new one & move items to the other
en masse or individually. Then compact the original file.

If you can't open the file at all, you'll need

PST crop utility. Note that you will probably lose some data. Make a backup
of the file first.

Note - this question would best have been posted in m.p.outlook as it isn't

or why not use Winzip, to zip it, then split it into CD sized chunks???
