Recently, we enforced a password policy and users had to choose a new
password upon login. One user is now having problems with Outlook XP
wherein it asks for his creditials all time time. Sometimes it doesn't even
accept his password even though it's correct. Outlook is configured for
Password Authentication.
I've tried:
Creating a new windows profile.
Creating a new profile on the same workstation.
Repairing Outlook.
Installed the latest updates.
I've tried the suggetion from
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb%3Ben-us%3B321652
What works:
It works on a different workstation.
Another account works on the problem workstation.
Can anyone suggest anything?

I just posted your exact problem with the identical enivornment, and took
the same troubleshooting steps with same results. This happened on 3 of my
workstations out of about 100 when I implemented password policy change in AD
GPO. Did you ever have any luck determining the issue? I'm about ready to
break down and call MS support, but if you have any input I'd greatly
appreciate it. Thanks,
Ryan
