I have installed Exchange 2007 Management Tools on my WinXP but would like
to remove it.
I have tried using the add/remove programs and encounter issues while in
uninstall process (the remote registry service is hang while it's stopping)
So all the uninstallation process become failed and now I couldn't uninstall
the management tools.
Please help.
Regards,
Jimmy
UPDATE: I am able to uninstall the Exhange 2007 Management Tools by using
Revo Uninstaller.
Then after that remove the left over Exchange registry keys
(HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Exchange)
And now I am trying to reinstall it, will keep you posted about this latest
step.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923416
The Remote Registry service does not stop after you install the
security update that is associated with security bulletin MS06-008 on
a Windows XP-based computer
- Check if the XP machine have the security update 911927 which causes
the problem. Request for hotfix 923416 from Microsoft PSS - this gets
the uninstallation work.
Hope this helps !!
