I ran forest Prep fine but running domain prep for E2K I
am getting numerous errors. Can anyone point me in the
right direction PLEASE. Below are some of the different
errors I am getting in the Exchange Server progress log
file.

Error code 0X80004002 (16386): No interface

Error code 0X8000500D (20493): The property cannot be
found in the cache

Did DomainPrep complete? Are you just looking at the installation log?
From what I have heard (and seen) it is quite normal to see several entries
in the setup log that appear to be errors. The important thing is if the
actual Domainprep finishes.

No, it gets to a certain point in the prep and it is
unable to continue with a retry cancel box that says

"Setup failed while installing sub-component Domain level
permissions with error code 0x80072030 (Please consult
the installation logs for a detailed description). You
may can the installation or try the failed setup again".

Sounds like you don't have the correct permissions to run DomainPrep. Are
you using an account that is a member of Domain Admins? you might also make
sure that it is a member of the Enterprise Admins and Schema Admins.

Same account that ran forestprep. I am in Domain Admin,
Enterprise Admins, Exchange Domain Admins, Exchange
Enterprise and Exchange services groups. I re-created an
ADC and only a one way connector from Windows to
Exchange, that didnt work. I stopped the ADC services and
tried it and that didnt work. I dont know what else more
to try.

Why are you creating an ADC? Do you have Exchange 5.5 servers? If you
don't have any Exchange 5.5 servers, then you don't need the Active
Directory Connector. Plus, the documentation I have seen indicates that you
really should add the ADC after running Forestprep and Domainprep.
