Exchange Server 2007 sp1, configured without an Edge server. Still in the
setup/testing phase.

Went to Organization Configuration - Hub Transport - Anti-Spam - IP Allow
List with the intention of configuring the server to accept e-mails from
devices operating within the local network (printers, fax machines and the
such). Right click on "IP Allow List", and find that my only options are
Disable and Help. No Properties tab. Checked the IP Block List and it's the
same. All the other items within Anti-Spam have a Properties option.

Is this a bug, or am I supposed to add the local network range somewhere
else?

- Looks like you're on SP1 - these were moved to Server Config - Hub
Transport - server | anti-spam tab.
- Unlike Exchange Server 2003/2000, the IP Allow and Block lists are
transport server-specific, not Global. In RTM, it's in the Org Config.

My that was fast.

Settings made. Looks good. Also found that it's in this location that one
enables the anti-spam updates. I'd tried in the anti-spam under Org Config -
Hub Transport and through power shell and it hadn't work.

Anyways all looks fine now.

Thanks

Ummmm...I am under the Hub Transport, under the Anti-spam tab, and I DO NOT get any "Properties" for the IP Allow List. Only disable and help. What's up? How do I get this working? NONE of my filtering is working since I always see THIS in the Internet Headers of each SPAM I get:

X-MS-Exchange-Organization-Antispam-Report: IPOnAllowList
X-MS-Exchange-Organization-SCL: -1

The IP I am guessing is in the ALLOW list, is the IP of the Sendmail/MailScanner server in the DMZ which is passing the email to the Exchange Server. The Exchange server is catching 0 SPAM!

Please help! I've been working on this for several months and am getting nowhere.

Thank you, Jay Eatinger
