We are setting up our Outlook Clients to collect their
mail through a trusted domain ("ABC") on Windows 2000
Server (Exchange 5.5 / SP4).

We previously had the clients connecting through the
domain they logged onto("XYZ")

During the migration, we have an Internet Mail Connector
for both the ABC and XYZ domains.

The problem we have is that mail is not going out via the
IMC on the ABC domain but is trying to route through the
XYZ IMC and is getting stuck in the MTA queue.

Could you advise as to how we can resolve this.

Many thanks

Paul

Set the MTA on each server to "only use least cost routes", then put the
cost on the IMS at the XYZ domain to 100. Stop and restart the IMS, and
recalculate routing on each server.
