An important user (our CEO) had some Outlook OST folders. His mailbox was
inadvertently deleted (only 3-4 days of activity, so it was OK) and we had
to recreate his mailbox under a different name.
Now the challenge is to recover his OST folder (pointing to his old SID).
If I can atleast get a printout of his OST file, he would be happy.
Can someone help, please ?
Now would be the perfect time to test out that backup and restore
procedure maybe?

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the old OST file is most
likely a boat anchor at this point.

You say the mailbox was created under a DIFFERENT name -- this is a
Good Thing<tm>.

You should be able to create a profile to have the client work
off-line and use the OST -- provided he never used that OST to connect
to the NEW mailbox.

If you can use the OST off-line you can salvage the mail. If not, the
only way out is to restore the information store to a recovery server
and copy the messages to a PST.
