Hi folks. I've been asked to decommission a 2003 Exchange Server that was "mostly" migrated already to Exchange 2010 (they turned off the 2003 server and it didn't go so well; I'm now doing the PF's.) I've been following a variety of Technet, etc. posts and one of the steps is to set the 2010 server as the Master in the "first administrative group". Unfortunately, the only server in that group is the 2003 exch svr. The 2010 server is the only one listed in the group "Exchange Administrative Groups".
Is there anything that should be done to add the 2010 server to the "first administrative group"? Something else? This is the only step in the Technet article which isn't matching up so I need to get that worked out.
I appreciate any help.
