I have a problem with OMA and activesync with Exchange 2003 SP2.

OWA works fine, but when I try to use OMA I receive the following
message:

"Unable to connect to your mailbox on server SERVERNAME. Please try
again later. If the problem persists contact your administrator."

and the following event is placed it the log:

"Request from user simonm@**** resulted in the Microsoft(R) Exchange
back-end server SERVERNAME returning an HTTP error with status code
409"

When I try to use activesync from my PDA it errors with a HTTP_500
error, and the puts the following message in the application log:

"Unexpected Exchange mailbox Server error: Server: [DOMAIN.NAME.COM]
User: [simon.moxon@*****] HTTP status code: [409]. Verify that the
Exchange mailbox Server is working correctly."

Can anyone shed any light on this? Apparently HTTP status 409 means
'conflict', but what that really means I don't know.

If anyone has any ideas, please let me know and I will send you
something good :-)

Thanks in advance for your help.

It's okay I fixed it; the solution for anybody else that has this
problem was that both OMA and active sync look for a virtual folder in
IIS called ExchDAV; for whatever reason I didnt have this virtual
folder.

Following the instructions here:
http://www.petri.co.il/problems_with_forms_based_authentication_and_ssl_in_activesync.htm
I managed to create the folder and OMA / Activesync started working
immediately.

How do I save and import config of Exchange virtual directory when using
Win2K (IIS 5.0)?
