POP3 server right now I am using a thrid party software for the same. Can I use
Microsoft Exchange 5.0 for downloading my mails from the ISP's Server if so how
can I do it?If yes then what is the

If you want to eliminate the POP3 server (a good idea), you won't be
downloading messages anymore. What you will need to do is set up an
agreement with your ISP to queue mail for your domain (and you will need
your own domain, although it can be a subdomain of another domain) until
your server connects and issues an ETRN command. The ISP's server should
then initiate an >SMTP< session with your server and deliver the mail for
your domain. No mailboxes will be kept on the ISP's machine; it merely
queues the mail for your domain until you issue the delivery command. You
might also want to check out the FAQ at www.swinc.com for more info on
setting up a dial-up SMTP server.
