If You checked following link..

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee338574.aspx

Supported Active Directory Environments.. Exchange 2003 doesn't support
Windows Server 2008 domain controllers.

I have Exchange Server in site where is also two DC's, and I'M going to
replace one of those DC's to W2K8 R2 and all other sites DC's also.

Guestion is.. If I have W2K8 R2 DC (not supported by Exchange 2003) and W2K3
DC (supported by Exchange 2003) is it possible to configure Exchange to
authenticate/communicate with 2003 DC? ..and will that work? ...how this is
configured?

Dear Pasi

Why don't you just upgrade your exchange to 2010. Its not hard to do.

Sure it does. Exchange 2003 SP2 is supported with Windows 2008 Domain
Controllers. It is not supported with Windows 2008 R2 Domain Controllers.

You could put the 2008 R2 server in a different AD site. Of course, you may
have problems if all the DCs in that site are down and Exchange goes looking
outside the site. My recommendation would be to install Windows 2008 SP2
and hold off on the R2.
