I cannot connect to my exchange server through a phone line sometimes. I
will always get a timeout error. It will sometimes connect when I retry a
few times. It will work fine most of the time through a DSL or cable
connection to the internet.

My Exchange is set to an Exchange Server profile (not the Internet connect
profile) and the Exchange server name is the name of our server. Sometimes
off-site if I change the server name to our website address it will connect
up fine.

My feelings is that this has something to do with the DNS settings since it
times out trying to connect to our server. Is there anyway to make sure
this connection works all the time.
Please let me know as soon as possible if there are any ideas.

If you change the connection to the IP address rather than server name, does
this resolve the problem? If so, you could either leave the client using the
IP or add a PRE entry to the hosts file for the server.
