Hi,

Sorry for my bad english!

Here is my Problem:
Since we upgraded our Exchange Server 4.0 SP5 GER to 5.5 SP2 GER, every
Rule, that contains a forwarding to an SMTP address (for example:
rpei...@hotmail.com), fails. But there is no Error - Message, the Mail
simply doesn't reach the recipient.

The IMC generaly works: If I send a Mail directly to a SMTP address, then it
works fine.

Thanks for help

The default setting on the IMS changed with regard to automated
replies. Check the "Advanced options..." button on the "Internet Mail"
tab and uncheck the box.

You might want to look at the following MS KB articles, too:
Q192982 "XFOR: Internet Mail Service Does Not Allow Auto Forwarded
Msgs"
Q216161 "XFOR: Automatic Replies to SMTP Reports Disallowed"

On the General Page of the IMC there's an Advanced Options button (or
something like that). In it you can remove the check that disallows auto
replys to the Internet.

We have removed the check from disbable automatic replys to Internet. We
are only running 5.5 with no Service Packs.

Did you stop and start the IMS after making the changes?

SP3 for Exchange is due out shortly. Applying an SP or 2 might not be
a bad idea.
