Connect 2 Exchange Servers Organizations in 2 Microsoft Forests

Dear All,

Currently I have two Exchange Servers, each sitting in different Exchange
Org. All the Exchange Servers in remote sites are downloading email messages
from the Exchange Server located in Corporate office (HQ) by using Linux
Freshmail as a gateway. As part of the new planning, I would like to remove
Linux Freshmail and let the Exchange server from each site to communicate
directly with HQ server to download email. I am desperately looking for a
solution to accomplish this. Anyone has experienced this? I appreciate if you
can share with me. Thank you.

Hi,

If all servers are connected by wan there should be no need for the download
solution.

Create SMTP connectors on the server with the internet connection, configure
one of the remote servers as smart-host and on the address tab enter the
remote domain name.

Configure the exchange server with the internet connection to allow relay
for these remote domains
