Hey everyone,

We are running a Windows 2003 domain and Exchange 2003 ent in 2 clusters and
2 Administrative Groups.

Cluster #1, 3 BEs and 2 FEs (First Administrative Group), - Sutdent email
system

Cluster #2, 3 BEs and 2 FEs (Second Administrative Group - Faculty/Staff
email system

We have decommisioned cluster #1 and deleted the BEs per MS support help.
Now we need to remove the 2 FEs for cluster #1. Anyone have any MS docs.
that tells the right way to do this?

We are NOT doing anything to cluster #2.

TIA,

Clayton

You just uninstall Exchange from the server.
You do whatever you need to do to the peripheral services (NLB, DNS
etc) to make sure that your infrastructure doesn't try to hit the FE.

Thank you Mark,

That's what I thought, but it's alway nice to bounce it off someone else
first.
