We have a CCR cluster on Windows Server 2008. The cluster is formed over a
stretched subnet. Setup is as follows:

Node01 - 10.0.31.50 and 10.0.32.50
Node02 - 10.29.1.50 and 10.29.2.50

We need to move Node02 to a new building which involves changing the IP
addresses. Anyone got some help or assistance on doing this? Any gotchas to
look out for?

Appreciate your advice.

I've never had to do that. But I think I would suspend storage group copy
on all storage groups before the move, then after changing the IPs, make
sure that the cluster works and you have full connectivity before resuming
storage group copy. That should help minimize any errors.

Hi Ed, thanks for your response.

I was hoping someone had done this and could post their experience.

We need to be sure it will work and our boss is not happy to adopt, as he
put it, the "hope for the best" approach.

So any other input from the experts out there would be much appreciated.

If you want to be totally sure, build a lab and test your procedure there.
That way you'll have a tested repeatable procedure you can use in
production. That's really the only answer for your boss.
