I have one Exch 2007 SP1 Mailbox Role on a Windows Server 2003 R2 x64
Enterprise. I want to enable CCR. It looks like the only way to enable
clustering is to do this during the install of Exchange. Is that correct?
If I have to reinstall, my thought is to put up a new Exchange 2007 SP2
server on Windows 2008 Enterprise as the active CCR in the same EXCH site.
Upgrade the old server to EXCH 2007 SP2. Then move the mailboxes from the
old Exch 2007 server to the new one. Rebuild the old one with Exchange 2007
SP2 on Windows 2008 Enterprise being the CCR passive server. Enable CCR
clustering.

Make sense? Any suggestions????
Thanks,

Yup. The only way to do this is to create that new CCR node as a
single node cluster, do the full migration and then reformat the box
you left behind, building it into the cluster as the passive node.
