Hi all,

I just checked the SCR target's replicated database and are all log files
and without .edb files. How can I MOUNT THIS DB with no .edb file? (2007
sp1 win2k8)

Thank you!

You can't mount anything if all you have are transaction log files...

I have CCR as the source and I am testing SCR.
I did enable-storagegroupcopy and I saw all log files replicatedto the SCR
target.
I waited for one day and I tried to activate SCR target.
I did restore-storagegroupcopy and setup.com /REcoverCMs
then I tried to go to SCR target to mount DB but I could not mount. then I
checked and found out only log files there and no .edb file.

So, when should *.edb file be created?

Hi Ed,

Once enable SCR on storage group, what event you got. if you got seeding is
required error then you need to do manlly seed or automatically seed the
database.

Manually seeding :
dismount the SCR source DB and copy from source server to traget server DB
folder.
Path should be same on Source and target server.
Once copying completed mount the source DB.
