Hi,

My scenario is as follows:

1. AD Site1 - CAS1 with DAG MBX1 active copy of database
2. AD Site2 - CAS2 with DAG MBX1 healthy copy of database

The Databases are in a DAG across the sites with active copy MBX1 in Site1
and a healthy copy on server in Site2. When I *over MBX1 from Site1 to Site2
the CAS1 loses track of where the active copy is and I have to connect to
CAS2 to connect to the active DAG copy in Site2. (And vice versa).

IMO that is wrong. The Active Manager should notify the CAS server(s) as to
where the active copy is now after *over and redirect all clients to that
copy.

What am I missing here?

Regards
Vinkie

Does the DAG have an IP address in each site?
