I have given some configuration tips to try out, but my recommendation
is that you change the desktop OS to a 32 system, either Win95 or
WinNT workstation.

Try the following.
(1) Install WfWg from the NT 3.51 server CD's clients directory, or
update the current installation with wfwfiles.exe (ftp.microsoft.com
softlib area or TechNet CD2).
(2) Install the latest vlm's, *.386 and *.dll files from Novell.
(3) Install the MS memvalet utility (ftp://ftp.microsoft.com /bussys
/exchange/ exchange-unsup-ed/).
(4) Try using 802.2 frame types and not 802.3. (In NT server, set the
frame type detection to manual, list 802.2 as used and set the
internal network number to a unique non-zero number).
(5) Ensure that the RPC binding order is set so that the first
protocol listed is the one used primarily (e.g in the exchng.ini set
Rpc_Binding_Order=ncacn_ip_tcp, if using TCP/IP).
(6) If TCP/IP is available, try using this exclusively for RPC calls.
(7) For all protocols, ensure that they communicate with the server
using the RPC ping utility on the Exchange Server CD.
(8) Follow any relevant suggestions in the Readme.wri file on the
Exchange client CD's Exchg.itl subdirectory.
