outlook is slow

Hi all,
We have users who have 0ver 60,000 email messages in their mailbox.
It takes a while to open outlook and search.
any solution to this?
exchange 2003/ outlook 2003 /outlook 2007

You will hit performance problems as soon as you approach these
numbers. Also desktop search software doesn't help either.
