When connection to Exchange 2007 SP1 with Outlook 2007 SP1 in cached mode, I
am getting an address book of "domain.com AL". However, this address book
only has 2 conference rooms and a user that has been deleted. I am not sure
how to clean up this list of where the information is coming from. If I go
to the GAL, I don't see the user and see all other other users who are not
showing up under the domain.com AL list.

Any ideas on how to clean this up?

Thanks
Mark

Maybe you're publishing the wrong offline address book.

Look at Get-OfflineAddressBook | fl and see if you're publishing the right
offline address book.

You can change it using:
Set-OfflineAddressBook -Identity 'Address Book You Want'
Update-OfflineAddressBook -Identity 'Address Book You Want'
Update-FileDistributionService -Identity $ServerName -Type OAB

Good luck!

Ed -

Thanks. I may have tracked down part of the issue. I delete the OAB files
and the domain AL list is now correct. However, it shows the actual server
as the location. Once I see the OAB files get created (not sure when that
happens), the AL list is incorrect again. After that the AL properties show
the local files as the location.

Does that make sense?
