Could someone please tell me what the requirements are for
a exchange client to log into an Exchange server over a
layer 3 network assuming that all routing is functioning?
For example, do you need to have WINS server, does
browsing have to be properly configured? Is it just a
matter of being able to resolve the netbios name of the
exchange server?

Thanks for you help.

Hello,

Do you have any errors? Usually you may need to add Exchange server to your
hosts file and make sure that your Outlook client is configured properly.
