This Exchange 2003 server lives on a SBS 2003 SP1 box which was Swing
Migrated from SBS 2000 about two months ago. I used the "forklift" method
to move the Exchange 2000 Information Store to the new server. The store
just mounted without issue on the SBS 2003 server and users just continued
on using Outlook 2002 & 2003 clients as though nothing had happened. There
have been no problems with Exchange or Outlook until yesterday.
Yesterday I discovered that all users get the following error when they
click on the Delegates tab under Tools/Options:
"The Delegates page is not available. Unable to access
Outlook folder. Network problems are preventing connection
to the Microsoft Exchange Server computer. Contact your
system administrator if this condition persists."

I have Googled and have come up with very little useful except that there
may be corruption in the IS and exporting users' mailboxes to PST files,
recreating mailboxes and dragging the PST data back into the new mailbox. I
sure hope there is a better way to fix this.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this, please?

Sorry, some of my post got garbled. In the third last paragraph I meant to
indicate that a suggested fix for a corrupt mailbox was to export to a .pst,
recreate the mailbox and then drag the contents of the .pst back to the new
mailbox.

I see a similar thread below (Outlook "Delegates" tab not available to
users) and can confirm that this is not a connectivity issue (everything
else works) and Outlook is cofiigured for Exchange server.

Bill,

I too have this issue and recently performed a swing migration from
sbs2000 > sbs2003. I did not use forklift method for exchange, but
simply used exmerge.

I have not found anything so far but will update you if i find
anything!

Thanks.
