Dear Newsgroup,

I have the following problem on one of our servers (running MXS2000, port 25
natted).
Todays morning from one moment to the other (this is my opinion because
nobody changed anything on the server as I know) the server ist not able to
receive any mails from any domain (so I tried 5 different sending domains).
When sending a mail to a recepient on this server from external, the
following NDR is created:

>>>>>Sent <<< RCPT TO:us...@domain.xx
>>>>Received >>> 553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed
rcpthosts (#5.7.1)

It is confusing, that I can deliver mails to the mailboxes, when I make a
telnet on port 25 and sending the commands by hand (like Microsoft tells in
its article 153119).

Any ideas by your side? Thank in advance!
Best regards,
Armin

I would guess that MX record for your domain points to something misconfigured.
What is the domain name?

Dear Kirill,

the mx-record seems fine to me (as I checked with NSLookup) - the domain is
knauf.ba

best regards,
Armin

How I am searching:
Searching for MX record for knauf.ba at e.root-servers.net: Got referral to
MUNNARI.OZ.AU. [took 256 ms]
Searching for MX record for knauf.ba at MUNNARI.OZ.AU.: Got referral to
dns02.epn.ba. [took 248 ms]
Searching for MX record for knauf.ba at dns02.epn.ba.: Timed out. Trying
again.
Searching for MX record for knauf.ba at plesk.epn.ba.: Reports that no MX
records exist. [took 511 ms]

Which means that it has not propagated to the rest of the world yet.

Dear Kirill,

epn.ba (europronet) is our provider where also the dns-entry vor knauf.ba is
hostet. Am I right when I am thinking, that there is something wrong with
the epn.ba-dns-server and the mx-entries for knauf.ba?

Best regards,
Armin

Dear Kirill,

so the only possibility I have is to contact the dns-server-holder of the
domain, am I right?
Can you tell me in detail what is wrong, because the more detailed I can
tell the people the problem, the bigger is the chance that they can correct
it...

Thank you in advance.
Best regards,
Armin
