I would like to disable the Exchange 2007 "feature" that re-formats Delivery
messages -or- at least include the original delivery messages. We have a
situation where a message that was relayed via a non-exchange server in our
organization sent a delay message. Exchange re-formatted this message and in
the process hid all the details of what was actually going on.
In this case Exchange was not having any trouble delivering a message it was
in fact the relay server that was having trouble.
While I appreciate Exchange's willingness to accept responsibility for the
deliver problem I would really prefer that the server that's actually having
problems to fess up. ;-).
Can anyone help me with this? I have appended an example below. In this case
mydomain.com was not accepting a message sent from
theactualsendingserver.com. My Exchange server actually had nothing to do
with the delayed message.
Thanks
Bill
