How to have anti-spam feature with just one Exchange Server 2007 ?

Hello,
I have fine migrate from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007 in a simple AD
domain. But i see that i can not have the anti-spam feature because i have
not the Edge role ... how should i do to have this role on my single
Exchange 2007 server ? I have a Esafe smtp gateway that kill the virus and i
would like to have just one Exchange server for my domain ...

PS : do i have to paid to have a second Echange 2007 server with Edge role ?

Help me please...

You can install the anti-spam agents on the Hub Transport. See details from

I have yet install the cumulative update for exchange 2007 ...
So the question : do i have to re-install it after the installation of the
anti-spam agent ????

Or do i have to re-install all my exchange 2007 server ??

it has nothing to do with the antispam element. you dont need to
reinstall it or exchange.
