Hi All,

We have presently deployed the Exchange2K server and it's
behind the Firewall.I've enabled the SMTP relay.

Under SMTP properties I have it set to allow ONLY THE LIST
BELOW to relay, and in the list I've set the IP Address
range / Subnet Mask.Without enabling the relay option it's
rejecting the Mails. Is there any way to allow the users
to send mails with enabling the SMTP Relay

Any help here would be greatly apreciated.

You dont have to enable mail relay for local users.
Check your default recipient policy. Is the Smtp-Domain added ?

Require authentication for relay instead and have your local POP3 and IMAP
users configure their clients to authenticate. You don't need to allow
relay if nobody uses POP3 or IMAP clients.
